On April 7, 2010, I will leave for a an 18 day trip to China to study China's education system as part of the China Exchange Initiative. Wuhan Celebrating the New Year of the Tiger, February, 2010
This is what it looks like when 10-12 million people celebrate the Chinese New Year! Mr. Zhu sent me this picture of the celebration in Wuhan in February. The new year is the most celebrated event in China. Much of the country takes the entire month of February off, even the schools are closed, but I bet the students are still studying and even taking 'special' classes in preparation for the Gaokao.
