On April 7, 2010, I will leave for a an 18 day trip to China to study China's education system as part of the China Exchange Initiative. I have created this blog to document that trip for the Licking Valley School District community and my family. I invite you to join me on my journey to this incredible country and culture.

Smoked turkey and all the trimmings!
Mr. Zhu at Thanksgiving dinner with my family. He found most American food quite bland and used a lot of RedHot to spice things up, including the turkey!
I feel honored to be in the first picture posted on your new blog. (I see I'm logged in as Pat but it's really Bill!) I'm glad you will have cell service so that I can get hold of you when we have water or sewage issues at Flint Ridge! Tell Mr. Zhu I send my greetings! I look forward to enjoying the China trip vicariously through your blog and without the flight travel time or avoiding the mystery foods!!! See you at the cottage for stories when you return.
